A new year!

I know, it has been too long since my last post. My apologies, we have been busy and sick so it has been tough to get things moving this year like I would have liked. So here is the latest in the lives of us!

First and formost, there is a new addition on the way, as most of you probably already know. I am about 15 weeks along so he or she will be joining us in August! We are so excited and feel so blessed by this gift from God!

Here is the latest picture, with more to come in a few weeks. This was at 11 weeks.

In other news our little girl has turned 1! Luke and I are both amazed at her development over the last year. We are having a ton of watching her grow and learn. Her personality has been so much fun to discover too. We had a small family celebration on her birthday and will be having a big party with the rest of the friends and family this weekend.

She is getting so big so fast, he is walking...or better said running all over the house. She LOVES books, she brings me one to read at least every 10 minutes or so. She is starting to talk, she says hi and dada, she is also starting to try to say other words. She says "ow" for kitty and quack quack for a duck. She also makes a fish motion with her mouth. She waves and blows kisses and is responding to so much in terms of language that I am constantly amazed by what she knows. She is a very happy and social kid, she always waves and says hi to everyone whenever we go to the store or other places. She loves playing with her friends and cousins!

Grandma and Grandpa Jenkins took the whole fam on a wonderful trip to San Diego for Christmas. We got to check out Sea World and see the sights of SD for a couple of days! It was so fun, here are some picts.
