New and Fun Things

Well, over the last few days Ellyann has started some new things. She is up on all fours and starting to scoot forward. She loves to roll around and attack her stuffed toys.

I am a little nervous about what this moving around thing means but I am sure she will quickly teach me about "babyproofing". She seems to get pretty excited once she gets up on all fours, now to figure out what to do with it. This morning she definitely was scooting towards toys that were a bit too far away to reach so we have a mover on our hands.

Here are some rolling around picts.

The other new thing is eating. Last week Ellyann started eating rice cereal. She loved it!

She was very interested in the bowl.

Yes, it looks like she is waving but she is actually on her way to smacking me in the face.

Dad got to feed her before church, notice the "gangster bow" as Luke would call it.

Then today was sweet potatoes she loved them too.

She was wondering why it was taking so long for the next bite.
Afterward she learned about texture as she smeared sweet potato all over the high chair tray. Oh such wonderful things to learn.

Enjoy!

I love the picture of her just hanging out with a toy in her mouth. Oliver does that all the time too! ;)
