Well, school has started up again and life is in full swing. Some cool things have happened in the last few weeks for us, beyond the normal beginning of school and football stuff. Luke started school, he is teaching Sophomore Bible and Senior government and econ. He sounds excited about his classes and he has his own classroom. One of the things that made last year hard was having to move from classroom to classroom to teach. He gets to be in one spot this year and it is a big relief. Football is in full swing, first scrimmage was last night and the season officially starts next week. He has less games far away so I will be able to make most of them.
I was able to pick up a couple of classes at the local community college last minute so I am teaching and already have a couple classes lined up for next semester. Things are rolling.
And Ellyann is crawling, once she figured out how to sit it was just a week until she was really on the move. It has been fun to watch her explore and learn! She is showing us more and more of her personality every day and it is so much fun to see. She has been sick for the last couple of weeks but has stayed fairly happy which is nice.
Here are some picts from life.

Grandma and grandpa taught Ellyann how to sit when they watched her so we could go to a wedding. Well, at least she figured it out when she was with them!
Having fun sitting, pretty soon after she figured it out.
Going with mom for a run, so fun.
She knocked over her toy and thought it was so fun!
Playing with dad
Loving her snuggle blanket...
And Grandma's blanket too
Sitting in her "new" crib, well we moved it down so it was in a new shape.

Totally staged but she thought it was SO fun, probably should not have put it into her head.
Coming to get mom in the kitchen
She thought the picture of that baby was pretty fun.

This was just a Kodak moment, three, yes three grandkids with grandma in the fridge...Joshua is in front of Leah. Whatever they were getting was very important.
Leah and Elly just hangin out.
Dancing with the bird.
Dad was having fun getting sweet potatoes everywhere, oh I mean feeding Ellyann.

Then he got to clean her up.
OK, look at Luke's face in the picture before this one and then compare it to Ellyann's face, is she daddy's girl or what?
Interactive reading, she cant handle sitting on my lap and reading, she has to be in the book.
Or eating the book.
Now that she can crawl she can find the giant bad of rice that mom needs to move,
...and drink from her sippy cup....
and attack snuggle her blanket and stuffed animals.
They were fighting over the book until I pulled out the camera, say CHEESE!
She had gotten it in by herself but something was just not right.
Checking herself out in the mirror, she thought it was so funny.
Helping mom look for bargains in the newspaper.
